Today’s world relies on computers to keep us informed, communications flowing, and daily data managed. The business world is no exception and we need to ensure we can function competently to keep our work environment relevant and competitive.
In this hands-on training, we will walk you through the basics of using the Internet, Word Processing for business documentation, using a Spreadsheet to organize and process your data, and provide you with enough understanding of how a computer works to be able to find your way through most basic specialty software that you might find necessary to operating your business.

Debbie Drake is affectionately known as a ‘squirrel girl’ by her close and crazy friends! She has a lot of interests and always wants to learn new things. Debbie has had careers in banking, construction and higher education and has been a home designer, artist and is passionate about helping women being successful in building their businesses and following their dreams. She is currently the Director for Women’s Business Center of Utah in Cedar City and is charged with serving the women business owners in the 15 southern and eastern counties of Utah. The Women’s Business Center of Utah provides free one on one counseling and free or low cost trainings, while helping to encourage, build confidence and create opportunities for women to be successful in their entrepreneurial journey.
