In this training, I’ll walk through 10 ways small businesses can establish an HR foundation to mitigate risk. For example, handling tough conversations (because avoiding them doesn’t make the issues disappear, it makes them worse!), how to ensure that when you hire someone, they actually fit the role you need, and ensuring the basic required paperwork for W-2 employees is in place. For those of you, I don’t know, it’s nice to meet you! I am Jill Shroyer, CEO & Founder of Expedition HR. I enjoy living in the mountains of Utah with my family. I am a fluent Spanish speaker, powder skier, rescue pet advocate, and a self-proclaimed “professional sticky situation solver.”

This gives clients the needed support to handle their human resources tasks in-house while receiving expert support for those sticky situations that arise. Subscribers learn what they don't know about Human Resources so they can have peace of mind and get more time back to work on their business!
 
We most love helping clients with handling difficult or "sticky" situations such as when they need to let someone go when sensitive pay issues come up, and when they are having simultaneous medical and performance issues, for example.
 
My background is 20+ years of working in HR, having held positions across industries from HR Assistant to executive level HR roles. I can relate to all levels of HR knowledge having learned from the ground up myself.
