The Women's Business Center of Utah is pleased to announce our fifth annual

Exploring Possibilities Conference

The theme for this year's conference is Aspire to do Great Things!



The conference will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott Cedar City. As one of our platinum sponsors, they will provide the venue for the event. We will enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by their chef following the afternoon sessions.



The event will feature Nicole Tanner, founder of Swig, as our keynote speaker. "The booming beverage brand Swig launched in 2010 in St. George, Utah, after owner and founder Nicole Tanner brainstormed the idea for a drive-by drink shop. Customers fast became loyalists, and it didn't take long before the Home of the Original Dirty Soda made a clean sweep across Utah. Swig's story has been made even sweeter with Save The Cups. Nicole is a breast cancer survivor herself, and she is now on a mission to help other breast cancer patients." - excerpt from Swig website



 We will also have a panel discussion, a networking activity, and the announcement of the Southern Utah Entrepreneur of the Year. We will keep you refreshed with beverages during the afternoon sessions. You will also have the opportunity to visit and shop our local vendor booths or take a fun photo at our photo booth. 



Following dinner, we will have an opportunity drawing. The drawing will include gift cards, gift certificates, gift baskets, free services, and more from local businesses in southern and eastern Utah. One FREE drawing ticket per participant. Additional tickets for the drawing are available online when you register or in person on the day of the event. 





All proceeds from the conference will go towards WBCUtah training, free business advising consultations, online training, events, and rural outreach. Our annual conference helps us expand our services to the 14 counties we serve through our southern office.



Keynote Speaker

Nicole Tanner, Swig



Nicole Tanner is the 5th of 8 children and grew up on a farm in beautiful Teton Valley, Idaho. She graduated from Ricks College in 1991 with her Associate's degree in Administrative Assistance. She is the mother of 5 amazing children and 4 beautiful grandchildren. She started Swig in April 2010 because of her love of a good Diet Coke, and she saw something was missing in the marketplace. She enjoys spending time with her family, going on hikes, or being in nature. She has hiked the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim twice and Mt. Timpanogos twice, and many others. Her motto is: Life is a gift. Make sure you make it a good life by loving those around you and doing all that you dream of!
