The Women's Business Center of Utah is pleased to announce our sixth annual

Exploring Possibilities Conference

The theme for this year's conference is Create Your Own Path!



The conference will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott Cedar City. As one of our platinum sponsors, they will provide the venue for the event. We will enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by their chef following the afternoon sessions.



The event will feature Angie White, co-founder of Beddy’s, as our keynote speaker. "Beddy’s was started by two moms, Betsy Mikesell and Angie White. Betsy was so frustrated by her twins’ inability to make their bunk beds but after trying it herself, she realized that she couldn’t be mad at them when she could hardly make a bunk bed herself. She vented to her friend Angie on their daily jog that there was NO bunk bed bedding and they were so difficult to make. She told Angie "someone should invent that’, and that’s just what she ended up doing.” - excerpt from Beddy’s website



We will also have a speed pitch competition, a networking activity, and the announcement of the Southern Utah Entrepreneur of the Year. We will keep you refreshed with beverages and snacks during the afternoon sessions. You will also have the opportunity to visit and shop our local vendor booths or take a fun photo at our photo booth.

All proceeds from the conference will go toward WBCUtah training, free business advising, online training courses in our WBCUtah Academy, events, and rural outreach. Our annual conference helps us expand our services to the 14 counties we serve through our southern office.



Keynote Speaker

Angie White, Beddy’s



Nicole Tanner is the 5th of 8 children and grew up on a farm in beautiful Teton Valley, Idaho. She graduated from Ricks College in 1991 with her Associate's degree in Administrative Assistance. She is the mother of 5 amazing children and 4 beautiful grandchildren. She started Swig in April 2010 because of her love of a good Diet Coke, and she saw something was missing in the marketplace. She enjoys spending time with her family, going on hikes, or being in nature. She has hiked the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim twice and Mt. Timpanogos twice, and many others. Her motto is: Life is a gift. Make sure you make it a good life by loving those around you and doing all that you dream of!
