Many things distinguish us from everyone else in our world: our physical appearance, our character, our fingerprints, our style, and our sense of humor to name just a few. Of all the things that make us unique, our personality is one of our most distinguishing characteristics. In this class, we will use a personality diversity indicator (PDI) called E-Colors to bring focus on the aspects of our individual personalities that are our strengths and our limiters. This is an interactive class, and we will discuss how we can use our emotional intelligence to leverage our strengths and overcome our limitations to be more successful professionally and personally.

THE E-COLORS ASSESSMENT NEEDS TO BE TAKEN BEFORE THE CLASS!

Instructions for taking the E-Colors Assessment

To take the E-Colors assessment or Personality Diversity Indicator (PDI), go to www.equilibria.com website and click on the red “Discover Your E-Colors” tab; at the top right-hand corner of the page. You will see that there are 35 questions to complete, and it takes about 15 minutes. You will also see three types of reports: Free, Basic, and Premium. For this class, you can just take the Free one as that will give you all the information you will need.

  • Next, choose your age group.
  • Then, choose your language, agree to the terms and conditions and click the “Start Now For Free Button” just below.
  • You will then be taken, to the next page of very simple instructions.  When you are ready, click the red “Let’s Go” button, and you can start taking the PDI.
  • When you are finished, print out the results, or at least make note of your E-Colors and the percentage you are of each color.
  • See you in class!
