The Utah Women-Owned Business Directory is a new resource from the Women’s Business Center of Utah, where people can search by county, city and industry to find female entrepreneurs in construction, finance and the arts, among other fields. Solopreneurs, home-based businesses, e-commerce, brick and mortar locations, and franchisees this applies to you!
Join the Women’s Business Center in conjunction with the Utah Microloan Fund for a dedicated class on steps to sign up for the directory, how it can benefit your business, and how to use it to the max to grow. Instructor Lydia Martinez of Elle Marketing & Events will be your guide and we can’t wait to learn with you.

Meet the Presenter:
Lydia Martinez
Lydia Martinez started her first business at 8 years old selling tree climbing lessons to neighborhood kids. In school, she studied both theater and broadcast journalism before discovering that her core love was actually a telling a well-crafted story. After tackling over 11 years in strategic marketing, branding, social media, and event planning for powerhouse retailers Barnes & Noble Booksellers and Whole Foods Market, Lydia decided it was time to get back to her entrepreneurial roots. In 2015, she launched her own firm, Elle Marketing & Events to help fellow business owners tell a well-crafted story across their branding, marketing, content creation, social media and into real-world strategic events. While she now prefers to climb cliffs in her spare time, you may still find her willing to show you how to climb a tree.
