This seminar will go over the various aspects of getting a small business ready for end of year taxes. We will review entity structures, record-keeping and various accounting formats.

MEET OUR PRESENTER
Caroline Brown CPA, Hughes & Associates, Inc.
Caroline Brown received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southern Utah University and later graduated with a Master of Accountancy degree there in 2002. She has been working in accounting for over 18 years, and is a part-owner of Hughes & Associates, Inc. where she works full time as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). As a CPA Caroline consults on the tax implications of entity formation, tax planning, estate planning, and has expert capabilities using QuickBooks. Caroline provides tax preparation services to small businesses and individuals and enjoys helping clients apply strategies to reduce or defer paying taxes.
Caroline enjoys traveling the world and participating in community activities. Caroline is a past president of the Cedar City Rotary Club and likes to support business and activities that exist in Iron County. Caroline speaks Spanish (although, it is a bit rusty) and hopes to use that in her travels more in the future.
