Does the thought of starting a business overwhelming to you? Do you have an idea but don’t know what steps to take, to make it come to fruition? Or are you in the beginning phases of your businesses, but need an extra boost? 
Join us for our Jump Start: Intro to Entrepreneurship workshop where we will take you through the process of how to make a business successful. 
Jump Start provides a safe environment where you can share your entrepreneurial journey with people starting out in entrepreneurship just like you. The training will be taught by Debbie Drake, the business advisor at WBCUtah. Debbie will go through the fundamental principles and provide exciting real-life examples, while providing tools needed to help you find a competitive edge and grab the attention of your target audience.

The training will review how to efficiently do market research, write a winning business plan and make plans to offer a product or service to the group of people who can’t wait to get their hands on it!

Debbie Drake is affectionately known as a ‘squirrel girl’ by her close and crazy friends! She has a lot of interests and always wants to learn new things. Debbie has had careers in banking, construction and higher education and has been a home designer, artist and is passionate about helping women being successful in building their businesses and following their dreams. She is currently the Director for Women’s Business Center of Utah in Cedar City and is charged with serving the women business owners in the 15 southern and eastern counties of Utah. The Women’s Business Center of Utah provides free one on one counseling and free or low cost trainings, while helping to encourage, build confidence and create opportunities for women to be successful in their entrepreneurial journey.
