DESCRIPTION:For those of you starting out in building your online presence on social media\, let's start simple! We are hosting three-part Master Your Social Media & Brand series taught by women-owned business experts. This series will cover the need-to-know information for you to successfully start building and directing traffic to your business social media accounts. \n\n \n\nYou will start off identifying your customer base and learn how to build your brand to increase your visibility in front of your audience. In the second class\, you will learn the ins and outs of social media business platforms and what tools you can use to make your accounts stand out. The last class will cover tools and tactics you can use to increase engagement and drive traffic to your social media platforms. Constant Contact Core Certified and Local Expert Speakers Association member providing training in digital marketing to help small business owners harness the Power of the Inbox.\n\n\n\nPaula has been the VP of Communications for the Salt Lake Chapter of the National Association of Professional Women\, has been on the executive board for the Salt Lake SCORE chapter and continues to serve as the chapter webmaster\, and is a member of the Holladay Chamber of Commerce. She is an ambassador for the Utah Women?s Networking Group.\n\n \n\nPaula Sageser is a website designer and content writer by trade\, and an advocate for small business communications by passion. She owns PCS Creative Services\, where she designs websites and content for Utah small business owners while helping to educate them about the planning and purpose of online content.\n\n\n\nPaula has seen the use of communications evolve over time while working with large federal agencies to small businesses and even individual bloggers. She has helped in the creation of website use policies and provided training for offices in the Veterans Health Administration\, as well as presented to local chamber and small business owner organizations. She manages websites and email marketing accounts for non-profits as well as juggling her own accounts for her website design business and hobby blog.\n\n \n\nLydia Martinez \n\n \n\nLydia Martinez started her first business at 8 years old selling tree-climbing lessons to neighborhood kids. In school\, she studied both theater and broadcast journalism before discovering that her core love was actually telling a story. \n\n \n\nAfter tackling over 11 years in strategic marketing\, branding\, social media\, and event planning for powerhouse retailers Barnes & Noble and Whole Foods Market\, Lydia decided it was time to get back to her entrepreneurial roots. \n\n \n\nIn 2015\, she launched her own firm\, Elle Marketing & Events to help fellow business owners tell a well-crafted story across their branding\, marketing\, content creation\, social media\, and real world strategic events. While she now prefers to climb cliffs in her spare time\, you may still find her willing to show you how to climb a tree.
