Training from the Heart. The first and only VSA-CDT (Victoria Stilwell Academy-Certified Dog Trainer) dog trainer in Utah, Training to a T does not use tools like shock collars, choke chains, or the like. Instead, we stick with cultivating positive communication and learning with you and your dog. Our goal is to teach you how to communicate with your dog while building a deeper relationship. Together, we will teach your pup what to do instead of what not to do.
We are also the first to bring Positive Reinforcement Rattlesnake Avoidance without Shock to Utah. Our class has been in the planning stages for two years and 2021 is the first year we are enrolling students and their best friends. We use the philosophy that your dog doesn't need to associate rattlesnakes with pain/being hurt to learn to stay away. We focus on teaching them the scent, visual and auditory signals of the snakes and what to do when they pick up on one or more of those signals. Our clients have referred to us and our class and being a trendsetter and we're proud to bring this type of training to Utah. We have in-person options as well as virtual options to cover the entire state and beyond.
