                                        We are a women-owned and operated small business offering beginner overnight backpacking trips in the Uinta Mountains for women of all ages and backgrounds.

    The three of us (Kate, Devin and Marla) met in 2018 while ski patrolling at Park City Mountain in Utah. We quickly discovered what we have in common: lives spent exploring and loving the outdoors and a passion for sharing that love. 

    While working as patrollers over the winter and guides in the summer we continued to be inspired by the strong, capable women we worked with. As our relationship with one another grew, we realized we’d be missing a huge opportunity not to combine our skills and build a company of our own to share our vision and empower others in the outdoors. What better way to continue to share each other’s company and keep each other laughing and growing? Wild Sage Mountain Guides was born and has been giving us life since November 2020. 

    WSMG is for gals like us, who feel most inspired when surrounded by other strong, like-minded and passionate women. It is for those who want to build a lasting relationship with nature and their own inner wild landscape.
