Training Overview
Many small business owners get off and running and don’t realize they are missing some fundamental and crucial key pieces of an HR foundation. Simply put, HR is just not a priority. In this training, I’ll walk through 10 ways small businesses can establish an HR foundation to mitigate risk. For example, handling tough conversations (because avoiding them doesn’t make the issues disappear, it makes them worse!), how to ensure that when you hire someone, they actually fit the role you need, and ensuring the basic required paperwork for W-2 employees is in place. Getting a few of these key, foundational, and important HR pieces in place is easier than you think. You’ll leave the session equipped with tools, tips, and techniques you can use for years to come to continue preventing sticky HR situations in your business.
